M1/M2 Operative – Surrey & Sussex (Guildford, Crawley, Horsham, Reigate & Surrounds)

Role Overview:
- Independently set up and remove TM layouts on single carriageways (up to 60mph), including Stop/Go boards and 2-way signals
- Supervise and mentor junior operatives, ensuring knowledge transfer and site safety
- Operate and maintain Pike and SRL portable signals, following ARTSM operational guidance
- Complete digital job packs and upload geotagged photos (no photos = no pay)
- Strict adherence to the company’s zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy, with mandatory pre-induction and random testing
Requirements:
- UK driver’s licence (21+, max 6 points) – Company van provided (3.5t TM spec, tail lift, fuel card)
- In-date Occupational Health (Safety Critical Medical) certificate
- M1/M2 (LANTRA 12D) qualification (smart card)
- Willingness to undergo and pass drug & alcohol tests
- Smart phone for digital compliance
